The seasonal rhythms, with their climax seen through the autumn leaves, are a majestic reminder that Jesus’ announcement of the “Kingdom” has been set into motion and one day will be completed. The world is headed towards the day where no one will go hungry or thirsty, all physical pain and sickness will be healed, brokenness will be made whole, peace and justice will be no longer just a song, but a reality. And here’s what’s extraordinary about all of this: we play a central role in making this day a reality for all.
