Do you want to be free? Rabbi Jesus calls us to the practice of forgiveness. Through a prayer (Matthew 6:12), Peter’s question (Matthew 18:21-22), and a parable (Matthew 18:23-33) we are challenged to forgive. Do you want to be free? Do you want to rise above the mendacity and mediocrity of our culture? The Rabbi invites us to the adventure of discipleship and teaches practices of freedom, i.e. forgiveness, love for enemies, and sacrificial service. Listen at your own risk! Transformation awaits. “Come and see (John 1:39).”
