God of our Ancestors:
Hear our Cries,
Remember our Sighs,
Your Promises Reprise.


With Raging Fires,
Debilitating heat,
Pains and Sorrows,
And Courageous Feats.


We need you now!
No more fires; it’s time for rain.
Move through your Spirit:
Take away these pains,


Comfort those afflicted,
Shower peace to those restricted,
Give grace to those evicted,
Wisdom to those confused and conflicted,
Power to those heroes and heroines unrestricted,


Restore. Renew. Resurrect. Replenish. Redirect.
